steering wheel alignment

my steering wheel doesnt line up with the direction my tires are pointed..the MG logo is sidesways when the tires are straight..also my horn doesnt work...hmmm (conspiracy?)...any easy way to remedy this? 74 midget

center the steering with wheels straight...pull steering wheel & recenter it

while you're in there, check the horn contacts

everythings been cake so far....

You might want to check the condition of your tie rod ends and your toe-in. If the toe-in is incorrect, or if you have worn tie rod ends then you must address those issues first. But, it may be that the person replacing the tie rod ends did not recenter them when they set the toe-in. In which case, centering the wheel will suffice. BTW you should have about 1/8 inch of toe-in.

When you have the steering wheel off you should see a copper tab at about 3 o'clock on the wiper switch mount. This is the contact that rides against the base of your steering wheel hub. If you ground this out the horn should sound. If it does then look at the horn push contact or the horn push itself. If it doesn’t sound it is in the wiring somewhere else. The switched ground for the horn is wired through the directional harness / high beam; it should be the purple / black wire. The horns should get a continuous (un-switched) positive feed directly from the #4 fuse via a purple wire.
In no particular order:
Check for power at the horn from a known good ground to the purple wire
Check for good switched ground between a known good positive and the purple / black wire at the horn.
Apply 12V to the horns to see if they are good.
