Steering Rack Question

Look at the angle of the steering column. Shim the rack so that it makes the rack perpendicular to the column.
 
Steering column's no where near ready to go in!
 
Passenger side. I think... just picturing it in my mind.
I'll go out to the garage in a minute.
 
Yup, that is where I put it on the Ugly Bug and it works great.

Yep, that's where it is...within the hour, the front end could be sitting on its wheels for the firast time....getting ready to press bushings into the radius arms & install the rear shocks in preparation for hanging the rear end!
