steering rack lubrication

Novice restorer here. I have refreshed the steering rack on my 1966 sprite. I have several manuals but on call for 10 ounce SAE 140, the other states Hypoid 90. Which is the one most used and how much oil to fill. There is a grease nipple and a damper plug. Do you fill through the damper plug and use the gease fitting for futher lubrication, and help will be appreciated. Bruce

Use the Spridget forum. It's for Sprites and Midgets. You might also use the search function. This question came up awhile back. Welcome

sorry new to this site, wil post on spridget forum, as to Obi thanks for the comment.

Welcome aboard Bruce. Tahoe Healey just be jealous we don't have the racks on the 100 or 3000's. I think lock-to-lock is like 5 turns on the steering wheel.
