TR2/3/3A steering bracket that fits under the dash for the end of the column

On the steering bracket that fits under the dash for the end of the column - the pieces and U bolt that goes up and hooks to the top where the mister vent is has a combination of fender washers some with a large hole and some with a smaller. I understand this is to give some adjustment for the back section, but I am having difficulty remembering how those washers are laid out. There is a washer on each side of the U bolt as the 2 brackets fit together, but I cannot remember what goes where and have searched long for picture.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Kevin I like that picture. I need to take more pictures. I see yours has that bracket that David’s has also, held on with a Jam nut. I had never noticed that until David post it.
I must be over thinking my bracket question. What I did was sand blast parts from 2 brackets and I was not sure where the all the washers went because it has been over 2 years; plus I kinda remember thinking at the time why do these washers right above the lowest bracket in your picture have a ½ inch in them; it just seems sloppy? Anyways, the way I have it should work fine without the larger hole; it will still move around because the bracket hole is ½ that receives a ¼ U bolt. However, I still find it interesting why I could not find a picture of the bracket in the parts catalogue; perhaps it is not a spare part!
