Steering box fluid question?

What is recommended for fluid for the steering box and idler? 90 weight Ok?

If your bushes and seals are in good nick gear oil--e.g. 85W-90, 90W, etc.--works fine. If they leak the thicker fluid--Penrite is one brand--might help slow the leaking.

FWIW - I've used STP in mine for several years since re-bushing. No leakage and everything still seems tight.

Be sure to turn the wheel lock-to-lock a few times during the filling process to make sure the box is full.

Who are suppliers of Penrite fluid??

It is made in Australia and Moss sells it.
