Starter Spring

I am changing out the brushes on my stock starter. 62 BT7.On the main shaft, the thin return spring closest to the starter body seems weak and partially broken. Anyone know where I could find one of these springs? Moss does not show availability. Thanks

British Car Specialists carries them. Last I know (6 months ago), they were charging $7.95.

The spring is supposed to be very weak. It only needs to hold the bendix gear in its retracted positioin when it is not engaged. The car starting throws it into that position.
