This video is of of street singers from around the world being recorded, overlayed and mixed with one another while singing the song "Stand By Me"
#1. THIS will lift yer spirits, I’m betting – no axes being ground here.
#2. it proves all members of a jam session don’t have to be in the same vicinity, from the same nation or ethnicity, nor even necessarily playing at the same moment in time.
Music does speak to something primal and common in all humans, I am convinced – it drew these disparate players together, at least in spirit, for a short while and for a common purpose.
