Stainless hood / bonnet and trunk / bood support rods

From a web search I came across a company called Wickers Body and Paint shop, which ( at one time ) supplied or at least advertised a number of upgrade accessory parts for Healeys, including hood and trunk rods in stainless steel plus the associated brackets.

It looks as if they are no longer in business, although their web site is still active ( https://wickerizedhealey.com/manparts.htm )

Does any-one know of anyone else who does these parts in stainless? The original painted variety always seem to be getting scratched at the contact / rub points.

you should call Frank ( Wicker) and ask him. He is still in business. I just had him do some work on my healey last winter. He is a good guy. If you google "wickerized" his name should come up. If you talk to him tell him Mark Kriwinsky said hello.

Frank is still in business and doing well after a year or so off due to a serious health issue. He is finishing my BN7 in the next few weeks. I highly recommend him - shameless plug.
Not sure he is doing the separate parts stuff any more.
I had the various support rods on my car powdercoated black. We'll see how they hold up.
