Stag Stag front hub

I'm at the office and can't do a direct comparison at the moment. Can anyone tell me if the front hub on the Stag is the same as the front hub on a TR? Although it's not scheduled for restoration until after the TR4A is completed, I noticed where a DPO installed a couple non-standard front studs on one hub, and now they're stripping out. Since I would like to be able to drive it, looks like I might be looking for a replacement hub.

Thanks,

I have an extra if you are intrested. I haven't gotten around to cutting the car up yet, tho... Shoot me a PM.

Not that this answers your question.. but take it from someone who's been there that you don't want to drive with bad threads on the studs. The remaining good ones may give up when you get a lot of side force on - for me it was in a low speed turn at a junction. Luckily although it wasn't a great day it could have been a lot worse. Glad that you have caught it. Pete

Thanks Pete - I found out about the problem when I shot a lug nut across the parking lot as I pulled into it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
