Stag Stag Fac. HT

That is an excellent price - now find me a surrey top in the same condition and price neighborhood!

You might contact this seller. I seem to recall seeing that he had a vast collection of tops, but I could be mistaken.

Who's on this list in Colorado? He's head of a Stag club.
He might be interested,or know of someone who is.

Glenn has both of his Stags up for sale, so I doubt he's looking for another hardtop. Especially one 1200 miles away.

But the seller could certainly find a better place to advertise, if he wanted to.

Randy,

My first one was $500 but that was 25+ years ago (and it was a great deal then especially since it had the aluminum hardtop section).

Well done! Actually I have one already too. But I paid not quite three times that much about 4 years ago for a top needing a full workover. At some point I may actually get the thing good looking enough to get it on my TR4.

I feel lucky to have been collecting parts when they seemed relatively cheap (or maybe I just had more disposible income). Car shows like British Car Days in Bowie, MD had a field of vendors with NOS and used parts.

I guess it wasn't this seller. But there was someone selling hard tops on CL that seemed to have a wide variety.

Thanks for the heads up guys. But both of my Stags already have factory hard tops.
This one in Oregon, IIRC is almost brand new. I note the owner has removed the Craigs list listing though.

Yep I am in Colorado, home of the next VTR/NATC convention this august 2011, and the " Triumph Stag Club or Stag Club" is actually www.TriumphStag.net , not that other one - forgot the name of that one already!

Although both of my Stags are technically for sale - everyone has their price, I am still driving, restoring and improving them.

Cheers!! :thirsty:
