St Pat's Day

Today, we took our little wire-wheel, right-hand drive roadster out for a spin.

At the Morristown St. Patrick's Day parade.

We ate bad food, chatted with some politicians, saw lots of former students and even met some real Irish people (other than me).
This is our 6th time to do this. My engineering kids built the "semi-replica" Curved Dash Olds "buggy".
The twins are our two younger grandkids (and yes, they took turns riding with Granny and Grandpa in the parade).

The date is intentional.

We're only 40 minutes from New York City and a lot of these same guys are in that parade (next weekend).

So we normally do our's on an "off time" so more people can participate the NY parade as well as Morristown.

As a result we are usually the biggest St. Pat's parade in NJ.

It's not so bad to stretch out St. Patrick's Day celebration for a week! :glee:

Don't know if I could handle 7 days of green beer and CB and C

The tell tale signs of a great time - smiles!

:eagerness:
