SRS Airbag Sensor - 1996 XJR

I have a 1996 XJR and the "SRS Airbag" light on the dash has activated. The car has never been in an accident and all components of the airbag system are intact.

There are two sensors; left & right. My service literature does not tell how to diagnose which sensor is malfunctioning. Neither does a computer code diagnostic unit with Jaguar card, (purchased from Snap-On Tools), give any indication.

Does anyone have any information as to how to diagnose which sensor is bad?

Thanks,

Hello, Phil, and welcome to the BCF!

You need to post this over on the Jaguar side, as this is the section for introductions. Lots of activity on the Jag section, and I'm sure you'll get several responses.
