sprite clutch release

I need to know who makes the best release bearing for 1275 sprites. I've replaced 2 in the last 2 years with almost no driving miles. About 100 mi on the first and 400 on the second. Both were from VB. On the 2nd one I built my own push rod so I know it was adjusted correctly. Defective parts? We owned a sprite in the 60s and never had a problem with this, drove it many miles and it was fine when we sold it in l969. Any help/hints will be appreciated. JSM

It's hard to know who makes/supplies the reproduction stuff these days. You figure most of it some from the same suppliers. AH Spares in the UK is known for having better quality replacement parts, so I would check with them and see what you can find out.

I've been putting 5 speeds in everything, so I haven't bought one of those in years.
