Sprite bonnet emblems

I have an opportunity to acquire one, maybe several Sprite emblems later this week. The only issue is that I have to remove them myself. I believe that the round plastic emblems are held on with a metal clip. How are the wings held on? Adhesive? If adhesive,, any recommendations for removing without breaking.
 
From the factory there are little metal clips that grab tabs that are molded into the plastic. .. Pop the clip, and gently (using a trim tool, pry off the emblem...

I think.
 
I've heard rumors of a limited run... No confirmation. .. I believe the projected price was $85. .. Not even sure where I saw it.
 
I finally just weld up the holes and put mine together without the badge. I like the look.
