ive got a set of A arms ill be using for disc conversion, i got the one tapered pin out that holds the outer fulcrum in place, the second is a bugger. Can i just drill it out? No amount of hammering/heating/liquid wrench seems to help. Ill be replacing the fulcrums anyway as one upright is bent. THanks-Josh

I replaced these this last summer....same problem and similar on lots of Brit cars with king pins. After trying everything else, I cut them out using a "whizzer" (air tool for cutting mufflers, etc.). The whizzer has a thin abrasive wheel that will *just* fit between the king pin and the A-arm. Afterwards, the threaded pieces screwed out of the A-arm pretty easy and I used an arbor press to remove the remains of the fulcrum pin from the king pin (might be able to whack them out with a hammer and punch). It's no fun!

Just found out both arms are trash, the fulcrums ovaled the arm, theres allegedly a repair kit, but its pretty techinical, I think ill just ask Santa for 2 new ones this christmas
