What's the difference between Moss'
$250 spring pans and their $170 ones
besides the price?

Patrick, as they say, the expensive ones are the British Motor Heritage pans and guaranteed to fit. I can't comment on the quality of all aftermarket pans, but I helped a friend do the front of his bugeye a few years ago and although the lower fulcrum pins fit the pans great, they were not parallel to the upper trunion fitting on the shocks and it made for some interesting expelitives trying to get the pins to screw in. We managed it, but if I had the choice now it would be worth the extra money to make sure everything fit right and I didn't have to muscle it around and have things in a bind.

I went with the British Heritage pans; they came from Winner's Circle and were a little better in price. Quality is excellent and, as Bill said, guaranteed to fit.
