Spring-less.....

Hey guys,
Whilst redoing some things under the dash, I just noticed that there are two holed tabs in front of the brake and clutch pedals that look as though they held some small return springs to said pedals. No springs though. I have been running around for years without spring in my step! Thought it was just old age on my part. Do I need these springs and could I find them at NAPA or elsewhere? Bummer...

Hello Bill,
I would suggest that you get some fitted. I don't think that the strength is too critical as long as they are strong enough to keep the pedals right back. From memory, I think my Triumph's springs are about 3\32" diameter wire.

Their purpose is to keep the load off the M\C springs and ensure that the ports are clear at rest.

Thanks Piman,
I ordered a set from TRF, as the local parts store had nothing that came close. I had gotten use to lifting the pedals with the toe of my shoe!
