Hi All. Sorry have not posted in a while. But had to tell you all the B had its first run this spring. Dont you forget the thrill during winter. Had to rebuild brake master cylinder but the old girl is worth every penny spent on her. So here is to a great summer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif ( Can any one tell me how to add a photo)

Ahh, the internet reminds us of how our friends on the other side of the planet have the opposite weather to us.

Here in my little corner of North America, Summer is just ending. It's been a hot and dry one and top-down driving has been limited due to the oppressive heat.

I'm looking forward to a pleasant Fall of moderate temps (about 55F or 13C) for some nice top-down driving on the local roads (in an MX-5) as well as at the race track (in the Sprite).
Glad your Winter repair projects were productive.
Enjoy your Summer!

12C and raining here today. I'm jealous, as I haven't driven any LBC in nearly a month, and with few posssible nice days ahead, it doesn't look good until next spring.
Enjoy your summer, mate.
Jeff

Don't be a weenie. Put on your macintosh and go have fun...

It's getting pretty cool around here too....just winterized the 58 A....still got the 61 A and the B LE out....the LE goes away next weekend, the A will stay out for a few more weeks(get driven daily).....I hate this time of year when everything fun has to go away.

Hey you all, you have winter? So. California is summer all year long. Well, maybe not summer, but it;s nice except in the rain. That'll come this month.

Well, right now we have fall, with beautiful foliage and cool nights and warm days, not to mention a 8 minute commute to work from my suburban home to my downtown office...a perfect commute in my LBC /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Hey, at least you're not driving upside down like those blokes down under. Is it true that their seat belts keep them from falling off into space?

Now about driving on the wrong side of the road . . .

Don't mean to sound rude (I am new here after all) but unless you live in Thredbo above the snowline I don't see any reason for putting a Roadster away in Winter in Australia.
Some of the nicest driving can be had up around the Dandenong Ranges in Mid-winter. Rug-up and stop for pies and hot chocolate in Olinda.
The "B" loves it too - I think there's more O2 in the air

we had 2 spot ... drizzles ... two weeks in a row a couple of weeks ago. It was enough for me to dig out my hard top and secure it on the car. My soft top is worthless. So I have to prepare early for the wet stuff. Of course, ever since I put the hard top on it's been flippin hot out! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Ya when you going to learn the right side. LOL

I migh... sort of planning to meet a cousin I haven't seen in 20+ years in Palmdale this weekend... might make the drive a bit more comfortable with the hood off...

yeah... well.. top up is about the same as top down with my top. Considering that I do not know whether or not I'll be moving or stopped when the rain does come.... eh... I'd rather not risk it.

Rained here in Northern California last night. Glad I have a GT. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

I grew up in San Marino & got Maggie from a classmate. In 12 years I don't think I put the topup 10 times-found a place to loiter until spitting stopped or used the toneau for passenger side & zoomed on till arrival! She has a new top(six years) and never put it up-had to get to the battery and discovered new top had a HOLE from vibration & rubbing!!!!!!!so much for tops Randi( I did get fully drowned in Louisiana once or twice I fully admit!!!!)
