Spring has sprung

Took apart my left rear suspension today. When I took the wheel off, I noticed the spring looked unusual. Notice anything wrong?

Here's what I had.

This may help explain some of the erratic handling and why I was scraping my exhaust every time I entered and exited driveways! So, what kind of replacement springs should I get? I'm assuming that I should buy them in pairs.

British Parts Northwest, John. They are good guys and I like their springs. Good time to use their rear shock conversion, too.

Good on you for repairing that frame now, too.

Bill, I've been happy with BPNW so far. I priced springs today-$86 for set of two uprated springs including urethane spacers! Moss was $100@ for heavy duty not inluding spacers, and TRF was $60@. Hard to know when we're comparing apples to oranges, but I don't think I can go wrong with BPNW's deal! I'm planning on getting the Urethane TA bushings. Any idea how these compare to Moss's Prothane bushings?

John i put BPNW uprated stock height springs in mine and am happy with em. Retained stock height and ground clearence, and a little firmer ride.
