Hi all,

Just thought I'd share... I've just signed up for the 24 Hours of Lemons . Still putting together a team... and trying to decide between a sensible car (VW Golf, etc.) and something with a little more flair (Fiat X1/9, maybe) !!

Wish me luck... and if anyone's local and interested, drop me a line!

I just watched some video on youtube of a LeMon race. Looks like Fun!

which race?

I ran two Lemons so far, MSR Houston and Nelson Ledges. Next year we are running two Lemons and two ChumpCar races.

I haven't been driving a brit yet but I think a spridget would make a great lemons car. Here is the sprite that has previously competed.

Hey, is that Zimmy's car?

No, that's Milo, Duncan's car - he hasn't been around the boards for awhile, also has (had?) a Rabbit. He may have sold the Midget as he would go fishing with it on Kijiji regularly looking for an offer.

You around Duncan?

Just remember that it car is going to get hammered in the event - have fun! Keep us posted on the prep regardless of what the ride ends up being.

We're looking at doing a MGB in the Lemons racing, possibly making a car club project out of it. Lemons races are not really the bash fest most think they are, they have penalties to deal with that sort of stuff, add to that if you go around hitting everyone, you are shoe in for the crusher.

Nah, Duncan who lives in Ottawa
