After a long search for a replacement muffler, I took the advice of several forum members and purchased a muffler for a Harley Davidson. What I found was a "shorty" muffler and could not be more pleased with the results.

It was easy to install, fits well and sounds great. I posted a low-tech video shot with a digital camera. You can see it on youtube by searching for healey exhuast or:

Thanks to all!

It sure looks good and appears to give greater clearance.
I can't hear it though, I lost my sound on the computer here
at home.
I'll have to remember to check it out at work.
