'Round these parts I rarely see any British cars, other than Land Rover SAV's (Soccer Assault Vehicles) and the occasional Jaguar sedan. But yesterday while out running errands, I saw TWO MGB's - a rubber bumper in Vermilion, and a chrome bumper GT in Harvest Gold. Never had seen either one before.

Waved at 'em, but wasn't in a place where I could flag 'em down. Hope to catch up with them another time.

White RB MGB here that I see every so often...and a dark TR6. I'm pretty sure the TR6 is the owner's only car. It's in really good condition but I've seen him hauling lumber in it, and the other day he was dragging a pretty good sized trailer with it. We've passed when I've been in the MG but he never waves back.

Since this is a military town (Ft. Campbell), I thought I'd see more, but they're few and far between. I was on post a couple years ago and saw a blue Alpine. Put a card on the windshield and asked him to give me a call; never heard anything.

Scott, you're in Florida, right? Your TR6 sounds familiar. I remember reading an article in Classic Motorsports about a guy in FL who uses a 6 as a daily driver, and this sounds like the guy.

:eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: hauliing lumber ~IN~ the car ?!?!?!?!?!

I wouldn't sweat no wave too much as clearly this guy is nuts !!!!

Oh the horror.....

I don't get folks that don't wave back. I had a guy in a '32 Ford do the same the other day. Allot of Muscle car guys are the same way too. Used to get allot of that from Harley dudes if you're on anything else.

I can't stand snotty unfriendly people.

Makes me want to fli.....

You make do with what you have I guess. I've never had to do with it my Miata, but I've stuffed huge parts of an airplane interior in it to bring home to work on. If it's really bad I can pull the passenger seat out for more room.

At an automotive flea market today I met a guy today who owns a 1949/50 Jaguar sedan, and he lives in the middle of nowhere in northern B.C. (anyone heard of Vanderhoof?

) This will give you an idea... Google maps, just expand the map to get a real idea

And he also owns a pair of Volvo P1800's and a 1964 VW Beetle Cabriolet, all in the middle of the northern bush country of Canada, my kind of collector...

Interior parts, o.k, lumber......

I carried a hangning planter in the front of my car and scratched my dash.

BOY, was I mad !!!!

Dash is going to be changed as it's already cracked but still.

My son just landed in Prince George to plant trees for the summer - last year he worked out of Vanderhoof

you are a twisted man - I like that!

Ah... but ~I~ do.

mehheh.

Great shot of Doc's digs, there, Scott!

Did you wave on your way over, Scott? I musta been takin' a nap.

We live a rock toss from Vandenberg if you ever find yourself in the neighborhood...

Wouldn't expect ya to. Not much "scenic" about cow pastures and strawberry fields.

Not that - we just don't get any work around there. I think the last time I was there we were surveying a canal near Temple Terrace
