Driving along here in Clarksville this morning, I saw a nice red chrome bumper GT for sale at a car lot. On my way back by, I stopped to have a look. It seems original, as the guy on the lot claimed (Yeah, right!), right down to the paint on the door jambs and around the hatch opening. The hatch closed with a solid "thunk" and it really does look nice. 52,000 miles, which are claimed to be original...who knows?
Oh yeah - $7500, which is what he said he would sell it to a friend of his (again, Yeah, right!).
Anyway, there are lots of them still out there. Here's hoping that they will always be around...
If anyone's seriously interested, I'd be glad to check it out.
