My apologies if this has been posted previously (couldn't find anything) and for the lateness (I get some of my car mags second-hand)...

The July issue of Sports & Exotic Car features a cover story comparing a 74 TR6 and a 74 Alfa Romeo.

Imagine my surprise when I recognized the owners!

The TR6 belongs to our own "Mallard'. So many of Keith's recent posts are on the fantastic TR3 restoration he is winding up that it is easy to overlook the excellent TR6 that he drives.

The only photo I could put my hands on of Keith's TR6 (next to me at a show):

Not too flattering with bonnets up but a grand car.

BTW -- The Alfa in the article also belongs to a Forum member - alfa33047. That's Bill Close who also has TRs & a Daimler. One of Bill's sidelines is a 5-speed conversion for TRs sold under the name Eaglegate.

Thanks George for the kind words about the July issue of Sports and Exotic Car magazine. Jeff Koch the West coast associate editor, and photographer is great to work with, and we had a lot of fun doing the shoot. Bill Close the owner of the Alfa is a great friend of mine. Jeff must have felt comfortable in the car during the test drive because he drove it like I do, like we stole it. Jeff is always looking for a car to do a story on so if you have something, or an idea get in touch with the Magazine and let them now what you have. It may take some time for it all to happen. From first contact to an actual magazine article took around 18 months, be patent.
