This is one of my favorite car shows of the year that I thought I would share. It's like some of the ones back east that I would go to with all makes of cars Triumph, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Austin Healey, Porsche, Pantera, Jaguar, Corvette, Sunbeam, and a host of others. The show is in Scottsdale AZ so you never know what will show up. This year I went with 2 great friends Jerry (67 Austin Healey BJ8),and Jim (Triumph TR250) and my 6. In the one picture I posted will show our better halves. The weather was great and we all had a great time. The car shows here are winding down now because hot weather is on the way, But your season is just starting. So go out and enjoy.

Is that the car Joe Alexander built? The blue and white car is a Beck Lister Jaguar. Very neat car. One more picture can you guess what it is. The car was featured in many mags recently.

That car looks Ferrari-ish.
Sort of like an original Testa Rossa......but not quite.

The Ambro in my photos is, I think, the original Ames car, built around 1961 (from a wrecked TR3).

But the cars that Joe Alexander is involved with are continuation/replicas of this car, so essentially the same car.

The original Ambros were styled to look like Listers or Birdcage Masers so it's not surpising that your blue Beck/Lister looks like the Ambro to me.

The car is a recreation or one off hand built out of aluminum with a BMW V12 1959 Ferrari TR512. You win will deliver next week. Hope that is all right.
