Just watched "Fast and Furious" 1954,on tv/youtube.If you haven't seen it you may enjoy lots of Jag racing footage in SCal,with some TR3 shots also.My favorite a TR3 cornering with a Nash Healy.Looking for "Johnny Dark"also but could only find trailer.Cool Woodills and Glaspars etc.Last week "Drive a crooked mile" was on.Another flick with great car scences, especially the hospital like garages for exoctic cars. Have Fun Tom

Just saw Viva Las Vegas (1964) on Turner Classic movies a couple of weeks ago. Early in the movie Ann-Margret pulls up in a TR3 and asks Elvis and another driver to look at the engine as it's not running quite right. There a mess of other great cars in that flick racing around the Las Vegas and the countryside.

Lots of nifty cars in the Herbie movies too

Found F&F at Amazon about six months ago and bought the DVD.

No such luck with "Johnny Dark" and finally threw out the VHS copy my brother had taped off cable TV years ago.

I also bought 'The Last Run" just for the footage of the BMW 503 (worth it) and "And God Created Woman" for the Lancia Aurelia footage (of which there was very little).

"La Verite" (The Truth) is my favourite. Brigitte Bardot and a TR3A. Heaven on a stick. Of course, my 61 3A was the cause of me meeting my wife so it still has a big place in my affection for TRs.

My three favorite movies for sports car sightings are the original Fast and Furious, Viva Las Vegas and (of course) Le Mans. As was mentioned before, it blew me away to flip past a Herbie movie and see a Lancia Stratos and some other greats. I suppose we can't forget The Racers, either.

Grand Prix is still my favorite car movie, though.

I remember as a kid watching the Munsters and seeing a Ferrari Spider in one of the shows. I think it was in the hull of some boat that Herman was on. I wonder if that's what got me into sports cars? I bet you could have bought the car for under $10000.00 back then.

In the Tintin cartoon movie that came out a couple of years ago, there were several absolutely authentic cars including Citroens and a green TR3 - same color as the one I had.

The best part of the movie.
Ann-Margret..."My engine is whistling." To which Elvis responds "I don't blame it."

I have an old racing movie from 1961 on VHS titled "The green helmet" Sadly it does not seem to be available anywhere anymore.
Lots of cool sports car footage.

This thread prompted me to do some searching. I found the Green Helmet, and while I was at it I also ordered The Fast and the Furious 1954 edition. Neat website...
