Ok I have to ask - am I the only one who is annoyed by this animated nautical abnormally? My daughters (20mos+ & 5 yrs) love him and my teenage sons think he is cool too. I swear in my house not a passes by that I don’t have to see or hear about this little porous little yellow fella. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Aren't all carachters which are aimed at entertaining our toddlers, or people with that same mentality supposed to be incredibly annoying to the rest of us? I believe that ths is a proud tradition dating all the way back to the days of Barney the large annoying purple dinosaur.
 
You're kidding right? I took my kids to see the movie, and loved it! How can anyone not like Sponge Bob!
 
ANd from the Sponge Bob marketing department, I was in my base BX yesterday and saw a "Spong Bob" rectal thermometer. (I'm not making it up).

Drives me absolutley crazy, like fingernails on a chalkboard. My 12 yr old loves him & he does have a good sense of humor. My neighbor 40+ watches with his on all the time??
