Spoke Length, 60 Spoke Wire Wheel

I bought a gaggle of spokes at auction on eBay, they arrived today and they seem to be in 3 different lengths. I was wondering if anyone knows what lengths the spokes are on a 60 spoke wheel? Also how many different lengths they have on them?

I can't help on the lengths, but all my Triumph Spare Parts Catalogues tell of only TWO different spokes for 60-spoke wheels: Inner and Outer.

I concur with Andy. I know that both 48 and 60 spoke wheels two length spokes, the short inner and long outer. Perhaps 72 spoke wheels have three lengths. The other possibility is that you spokes for different diameter wheels.

I had some spare spokes so I measured them. 15" 60 spoke wheels long spoke is about 6 1/16 inches and short spoke is about 5 1/8 inches. The short spokes have a sharper angle than the long spokes. 14" 60 spoke wheels have a long spoke about 5 9/16 and a short spoke 4 7/16. Since Moss uses different part numbers for spokes on 48 spoke wheels than the 60 spoke wheels I would assume the lengths are different.

Likely so, since the 60-spoke wheels have some "center lacing," while the 48-spoke wheels are all "outside laced."
