I think I got most of it out but there looks to be a small piece way down in there. I dug down as deep as a dare w/o Dr. Jack daniels or George Dickle.
I had some redwood under my thumbnail last month I was suffering for at least a week and it was starting to get inflamed. I had to go to the drugstore for some peroxide and dunked the thumb in it for about fifteen minutes. Works like a dream.
I smashed it all up in some of that. It hurt bad that night, but seems to be fine now. Looks like I got it all out; had to dig deep with the pointiest pair of twezzers you've ever seen. That hurt worse then the splinter. Doc told me years ago I have a high pain tolorance. That may have been true then, but things sure to hurt worse now !!! You would think nerves would wear out like everything else; apparently they get better at their job. :hammer: :eeek:
