Hi, Does anyone know what type of clutch kit i will need ? I have a spitfire mk lV 1300 with a Type 9 fitted .
When i press the clutch pedal i can hear a rotating noise , which gets louder and faster the more i rev the engine ( i'm guessing it's the release bearing ) but not sure .
Also could this be from the fork bushes or play around the fork ?
Any help would be very much appreciated , Cheers J

The standard clutch is all you will need. BPNW or Moss. dont forget to have the flywheel faced.
There is a bible on Spitfire (Kastner ) I suggest you source a copy.It will save you time and money.

Be sure to check the pins associated with the clutch fork. From the Moss catalog of 2023 SP7-83: page 20 and 21.
no. 180-200 push rod - slave cylinder,
no. 328-625 plug sleeve to lever
no. 190-930 pin, release fork
no. 190-940 pin push rod lever

There may be other bits, but those parts wear and over time, i disovered there can be so much "slop" the the clutch will not work at all.
