I have a '76 Midget with the Spit 1500 engine and am considering finding an overdrive transmission. Are they interchangeable over all years? Or is there a range I need to look for?

thanks all

Hi John-Peter, I'd think the ticket would be a factory OD box from the 1500 BUT am unsure of space/fit. Might require some BFH time...

definite BFH - and cutting etc., there's a couple of transmissions available locally and I don't know enough about them to tell if they would fit.
