Spitfire Spitfire transmission question

In the context of a 1967 Triumph Spitfire racecar, what is a "Krantz" transmission?

I'm not familiar with that brand, and I didn't find anything in a Google search. My best guess is that Krantz must be someone who modifies Spitfire boxes with straight-cut close-ratio gears for racing use.

THANKS!

From what I can tell, Krantz makes Truck equipment. Transmissions included. I doubt they made yours as they seem to have no racing history. But you never know. Maybe the owner of the company had a wild hair. Might be worth a call.

I hate to feel all late to the party, but I have you an answer!!!
