Leading a convoy from Home, PA to Huron, OH on Sunday. I wish I could say it's a convoy of Triumphs but that sadly is not the case. Going to haul back some tables from my grandmother's house so behind the Spit we'll have an Escape and an F150. The original plan was to take the Impala out instead but the deteriorating condition of the fiance has made me decide to help her have fun for as long as she can. Can't wait to see what the nose of my parents' Escape will look like, Spit is still spraying oil. I definately am going to have to make a stop at Berardi's and The Pied Piper in Huron as I have really missed the great food and ice cream!

This must be about the most disjointed post EVER...

My guess is it will look speckled. Take a couple extra quarts. Are you going to make British Car Day? If so, bring her along!

Going to try Doug. Mar wants to come down.

Had a good trip to Ohio and back. Pulled out of Home at 6am with my parents behind me and rolled easily top down to Kittanning where we met up with my buddy with his F150. Almost as soon as we got back on US422 we ran into very dense fog that succeeded in taking our travel plans and messing them all up. Our convoy pretty much ended there. Because of getting disoriented in the fog, my buddy ended up on I79, my parents on I376, and I ended up on US422 in Youngstown, OH. Once on the turnpike in Ohio the Spitfire tore along at 75-80mph almost like it was born to do that. Fuel averaged 32mpg for the whole trip. Had to add 2qt of oil.
