Spitfire Spitfire rear spring

My 79 Spit seems to sit high at the back, even considering the later cars were raised for bumper height, and seems to have pretty stiff suspension. It also does not have the usual negative camber, if anything a touch positive! I am wondering if a GT6 spring has been used , and if there are visible differences to tell them apart.
(Leaning on a rear fender produces very little compression of the suspension, not very scientific I know.)
Hope there are some Spitfire experts!
Thanks, Simon.

Hi Simon;

I replaced the rear spring in my 80 Spitfire this past winter and have noticed that the rear does sit a bit high and there is no negative camber in the rear wheels. I feel confident that with a bit more driving that the rear will settle in.
