Spitfire Spitfire Master Cylinder re-build

Hello All, I have a little issue getting my master cylinder disassembled. I've got a 74 Spit that runs great but stops horribly. I have a rebuild kit but I cant figure out how to get both plungers out of the brake Master Cylinder. The 1st one (clostest to the clevis) came right out with the spring, the 2nd plunger won't come out. Any suggestions????

I agree, a shot of compressed air will drive it out. Put a rag over the end to catch the piston and the fluid as it blows out.

I think Andy is talking about the "tip valve". I use a bolt held in vice grips to unscrew it... using the head of the bolt like an Allen wrench. The valve has to be removed to get the innermost piston and components out.
