Spitfire Spitfire Gas Tank Differences?

Hi all,

I have a 1976 spitfire 1500 that has signs of rust in the gas tank. I can reuse the tank that's in the car now, or pull a tank from a 1976, 1978 or 1980 Spitfire. Are there any differences I should be aware of among these? If I'm going to put time and money into a clean tank, I want to use the best one...
