Spitfire Spitfire fuel line

While putting the cleaned and sealed gas tank back in the new Spitfire, I noticed the fuel was a hard plastic that had become brittle and easy to break. Is this plastic line the correct stuff? And where can you get replacement line?

I believe that the plastic was used only for the vapor (emissions) return lines?

The vapor return line looks just like the fuel line on my car.

Can anybody positively identify what their fuel line on their Spitfire is made of? Is it original or something put in later?

Original, Bill. At least in the two '79's and the '80 and the 77 & '78 I've got here.
