The car is coming together after being apart since 1997. Trouble is I forgot what I did with the fasteners! I can find the doors and hinges and the boot lid but, where are the nuts and bolts??? Anyway, the real reason for the post: Is there a torque setting for the body bolts or, is German torque (goodentight) enough?

T.T.

Hey Trevor,
I have a set of the bootlid bolts. Want 'um?

Yeah, that's what I noticed on the factory book and the Haynes book. So I guess good and tight is the way to go. I did find boot lid bolts (thanks for the offer) and the bolts to fasten the brake and clutch pedals in place. The other stuff has to be somewhere in the garage. It is fun finding stuff I'd forgotten I'd bought four or five years ago. T.T.
