Post-War Other Spit 1500 Engine in a Herald 1200

Gents, I assume a 1500 Spit engine will fit. If so, suggestions as to clutch options, differential options (will the Herald 1200 diff and drive shaft work?)and, last, where is a good source of suggested upgrades (such as eliminating the smog reduction components)to the 1500 Spit engine to be found? Lot's of questions, I know, but Thanks for any input you may offer.

No major problems if this is a "Mk2" Herald with the later, stronger chassis. I would suggest using the clutch and gearbox that come with the 1500 engine, as well as the differential from a Spitfire 1500 (requires changing to the larger u-joint flanges on both drive axles and the driveshaft). The original Herald diff. really isn't strong enough to cope with the extra power and torque of the 1500. And I would strongly recommend upgrading the front brakes to the Spitfire's disc brakes.
