I know that not all of the side screen owners on the list are found of them, but they are a cool addition for the right car. I just got an orignal set and have been informed that reproductions will again be made if enough are ordered. Mike Youles at Youles Racing will be making them again and he can be contacted through his web page. Mike was kind enough to supply me with the installation instructions which will hopefully prevent me from screwing up my doors when I put them in.

I don't think I'd want to add those personally, but would certainly be a nice addition on the right car.

I'm guessing a slit and a couple of screw holes on the door?

Thanks for posting.

Hey, thanks much for the comeback guys. I figured they were unobtanium! I'll get a order into AH Spares!

While I'm at it, has anyone had experience with their Mk1 hardtop's??? I was in the fiberglass business in my youth and if the mold for there works hardtop was pulled off an original it may not fit that well because of fiberglass shrinkage but the one I'm trying to salvage really should be tossed. There price is reasonable but I imagine freight would not be.

Kurt.
