Speedo cable

Have a jumping speedo on 76B. Evidently this originally had the counter which, I believe, necessitated 2 speedo cables: one from tranny to counter and other from counter to speedo. Counter had been removed and cable replaced with a single cable. I would like to replace the cable but wonder what length cable to use. Vicky Brit has several cables listed for 72-74 B of 54, 60 and 72 inches in length. The cables listed for the 76 would equal 59 inches in length. Can I replace the cable with a new 60 inch cable. I looked in Moss and they list a cable (021-381) for non-overdrive w/o service indicator but don't give me the length. Or should I go to the 72" cable from VB?
Thanks

Moss never gives sizes and VB usually does. Good on them.

If it is a bit long it is not a problem it will just make a larger loop someplace.

Do you have overdrive? If not, the Moss non-OD cable you mentioned is correct....
