Speeding NY Triumph

I have a complaint about a speeding TR recklessly flying down Rt 66 in the boondocks of upstate NY. If this resembles you Andy, consider yourself guilty. I was the lead car in a group of four RED true American sports cars heading to a cruise at Rockets ice cream in Averill Park. Where do you cruise since Wynantskill shut down ? Bob

Hmmm...don't know quite how to respond, Mr. Claffie!

First, that was *East* Boondocks. :confuse:

Second, a Herald isn't exactly a TR (arguably better  , but not a TR)!

Third, I like to think of it as "spirited motoring," but the reality is that it's tough to get too reckless in a Herald. :driving:

Fourth, true American sports cars? Oh, like Studebaker Avantis or Kaiser Darrins...or do you mean those Corvette things? (all of which, btw, are very nice, including yours!)

Fifth, I keep forgetting about that Wed. evening cruise. Truth is, I had a wicked sinus headache last night and was lucky to make it home. Sadly, I've yet to take in a cruise this year but hope to soon. I'll try to remember Rockets next week!

Disclosure: I appreciate that none of the above means much of anything to the vast majority of you. :confuse: Bob and I have known each other for years (far too many years to reveal here) through "friendly rival" independent car clubs (Empire Motor Sports Club in the Albany area and Berkshire Motor Sports Club in Western Massachusetts, both now defunct) and also through the Mo-Hud Region, SCCA. Oh, and Bob did have a Spitfire or two, right, Bob?

OUCH!!!! I have seen LBC envy before, but this seems to be a very severe case needing lots of horizontal creeper time for Mr. Claffie under a Triumph.I can understand the repressed pain that is comming out, having seen it many times. It can be very upsetting at a cruise night with hundreds of cars when the LBCs get all the attention and Vettes just catch a casual glance{dime a dozen}. Be sure the help you obtain is of the professional nature, and not given by an envious muscle car owner.
