Is it possible to get one of those mini spare tires for an MGB? Or do you have to stay with the original size? Right now I do not have a spare. (Dumb move I know) Only carry my CAA Automobile Club Card.
I am not a big fan of the mini spares so I'd recommend a full size....but if you want a mini spare I'd try getting one from a car of a similar size....try a Miata or other small car with the same bolt pattern of course.
You could opt for the tire-sealant in an aerosol can as a half-way solution. Good for minor leaks. I cannot recall the last time I needed to mount the spare....
I believe that the saab space saver spare will fit as I seem to remember the bolt pattern is the same not sure what model but think it was to 900 series
