silentunicorn, that's great stuff, most people dont realize we are talking about an individual that perceived of satellites (most common today) in geosynchronous orbit before we ever had space ships! brilliant indeed.

.....Great stuff!!! I belive the book / short story, that 2001 was based was "Sentinel", a teriffic concept.
