Just a post to make sure all the racers know that the race track schedule is out with what looks like some neat races for all they even have a EMRA event https://www.njmotorsportspark.com for the schedule and pics

NJMP in Millville, NJ is going to be great!

I sent Joe Volpe (their track manager) a nice, fat check a while back for our reserved date in Summer '08.

Our pals at the various SCCA regions have also got their spots reserved, so it looks like everyone is voting for the success of this place with their checkbook.


The track will have *two* separate tracks....Thunderbolt and Lightning. Both around 2 miles in length. The tracks are named to commemorate the types of planes that were stationed at this spot in WW II (it was a military training base). There is still a civilian airport next to the track. During the inintial construction, they dug up a WW II napam bomb (the area was used for target practice), but all seems OK now and they are full steam ahead.
Some of us have mentioned that we could "fly in" to see some of the races too...very cool.
