So where are the distributor caps available for 3000 MKI?
Distributor Cap Lucas 411861
Rotor Arm Lucas 418726
Set of points Lucas 420197

Hi BH, For the Dizzy cap,I would try Healey surgeons or British car specialties.
For the rotor Any of the usual suspects should have it-But get TWO!
For the points I woud suggest "Standard Motor Products" Part No: LU1617P

just picked up a lucas cap and points on ebay. keep an eye out when one is going cheap, and snatch it up just in case.

Hi SHG, If the cap says "Lucas" and has Brass contacts you are probably ok. However, if the points do not come out of the old circus-ciircus box or The Leland one but come in the little green ones that say "Lucas" on the outside-will contain china parts inside. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif---Keoke

No spare ribs, just dizzy. You're absolutely right about making sure you get what yer paying for. Always something to think about from our friends on ebay. But as you know, I'm a very careful shopper.
