I've been digging a bit into my new acquisition (Honda S90) and think it is now identified as a moderately rare Japanese domestic model. Seems I got a good deal after all -- I just thought it was a cute little bike.

Literature on these bikes is pretty scarce, even though (or maybe because of) they made a lot of them. I've gotten so used to all the books, websites, forums, etc on LBCs that it's a different world trying to hunt down the details for this bike. We've really got quite an amazing array of info and parts available for our cars. There's a good Yahoo group that I'm now a member of, but not a whole lot else.

Of course, the flip side is that parts for the S90 are cheap, and all my current spares fit nicely in a small cardboard box.

Very cool Drew.

I have a '76 CB360T that is in rough shape. Carbs/ignition shot. Front master cylinder shot (rear is drum). The rest of the bike is halfway decent, just needs to be prettied up. That'll be my post-Healey project.

With the price of gas, I may be using it for more than recreation! I thought it was cool that it has a 6 speed trans. Honda only did that for a year or two (can't remember exactly) on that model.

Good luck on your project with it! I'd like to know how it goes!

Oh, and yes, I think we have it very lucky. Parts for these spridgets are readily available and fairly cheap. I mean, I think some of the prices are asinine, however, even similar domestic muscle parts are jast as expensive, if not more sometimes.

See if you can find the poster with Sophia Loren perched atop one. See was used in a few sales ventures...

Something along the lines of "You meet the nicest people on a Honda".
