This weekend I took a nice trip down our coast. I started noticing a light "clunk" coming from somewhere in the rear. Before I got home it was more pronounced and bugging the sht out of me. I pulled both rear wheels looking for "anything". I pulled both shocks... nothing wrong. I examined the springs... nothing. I squirted oil where I thought I could get to the body mounts. Took her out again and found the same noise. I determined it only occured when I turned left. Not always, but often, a light clunk. Frustarted, I thought it might be my trunk pan "oil canning" in the turns... I'll check the trunk.
There in the trunk was an old can of starting fluid rolling back and forth between a pile of rags and the inner wall of the trunk. Genius.

Hey, just smile and know you don't have to check the shocks now for a while!

I always like easy fixes.

Sounds like me a couple years ago. The guilty party was a lug nut wrench.

Many years ago, to "get even" with a buddy of mine for a joke he played on me.... I popped his hubcap and put a few small stones inside. It drove the poor guy crazy until I "fixed" it for him.

I hoped you charged him for fixing it.
