Something to look at

If it was, surely there would have been at least one photo showing it put together.

Also appears to be a mixture of pre- and post- 60K parts.
 
The '59 "A" looks solid enough, but I would beware of the "B." An un-restored car of that age, that has been driven in Minnesota and put away looking like that, is probably about 65% rust -- 35% steel.
