I spotted a couple of nice European classics over the weekend

1) Arriving at a favourite breakfast spot on Saturday (headed to an automotive swap meet), an old Volvo was arrived just ahead of me, I talked to the owner... He told me it's a 1967 Volvo 144, he has owned it since 1985 and clearly keeps it in excellent condition... Two photos, second photo with a bonus Nissan 300ZX, plus a street style photo that I rather like...

2) Arriving at a local flea market today saw an older Mercedes-Benz just arriving, the owner said it's a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 250C, a rather rare car as the coupe version

A guy in our neighborhood was moving. He told me to take his
142 (for free!).Had a lot of extra parts (some of them from IPD).
I sold it for $500 (delivered) to a guy near Coos Bay,Oregon.
I also gave $100 to the guy who gave it to me.

Better ask my Wife - If I get too full of myself, she reminds me
that I'm THAT great.
I do try & "do the right thing",& I can't stand to see cars like
this go to the crusher. Also get to meet some nice & interesting people.
